NRB Announces Fixed Exchange Rates for Major Currencies

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed foreign exchange rates for various international and regional currencies. The central bank set the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 151.66, while the selling rate is Rs 152.26.

The buying and selling rates for other major currencies were also announced by the NRB. For example, the euro's buying and selling rates are Rs 175.49 and Rs 176.18 respectively. The British pound sterling's rates are set at Rs 204.51 and Rs 205.31.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised anytime depending on market conditions. The central bank also warned that commercial banks may offer different rates, and updated information can be found on their website.
