NRB Announces Latest Foreign Exchange Rates for Nepal
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the latest foreign exchange rates for various currencies. The central bank fixed the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 152.91, while the selling rate is Rs 153.51.
The NRB also set the buying and selling rates for other major currencies, including euro, British pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, and Omani rial.
The buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 207.29, while the selling rate is Rs 208.11. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 188.71 for buying and Rs 189.45 for selling.
NRB noted that exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary, and commercial banks' rates may differ from the central bank's published rates.
