NRB Announces Today's Foreign Exchange Rates for Major Currencies
Nepal's central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the NRB, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 154.22, while the selling rate is fixed at Rs 154.82.
The buying and selling rates for other major currencies are also available. The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.00, with a selling rate of Rs 176.69. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is set at Rs 206.22, with a selling rate of Rs 207.02.
The NRB also announced rates for other currencies, including the Australian dollar (Rs 107.93 and Rs 108.35), Canadian dollar (Rs 109.51 and Rs 109.94), Singapore dollar (Rs 119.51 and Rs 119.97), Japanese yen (Rs 9.44 and Rs 9.48), Chinese yuan (Rs 22.78 and Rs 22.87), Saudi Arabian riyal (Rs 41.09 and Rs 41.25), Qatari riyal (Rs 42.30 and Rs 42.47), Thai baht (Rs 4.56 and Rs 4.58), UAE dirham (Rs 41.99 and Rs 42.15), Malaysian ringgit (Rs 37.72 and Rs 37.86), South Korean won (Rs 10.50 and Rs 10.54), Swedish krona (Rs 15.87 and Rs 15.93), Danish krone (Rs 23.54 and Rs 23.64), Hong Kong dollar (Rs 19.67 and Rs 19.75), Kuwaiti dinar (Rs 501.04 and Rs 502.99), Bahraini dinar (Rs 409.02 and Rs 410.61), Omani rial (Rs 400.57 and Rs 402.13), Indian rupee (Rs 160.00 and Rs 160.15).
The NRB notes that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required, and commercial banks may have different rates.
