NRB Publishes Foreign Exchange Rates for Monday
Nepal's central bank, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has set the official foreign exchange rates for Monday. The buying rate of one U.S. dollar is Rs. 154.21, while the selling rate is Rs. 154.81.
The NRB also fixed the buying and selling rates for other major currencies, including the euro (Rs. 175.31 and Rs. 175.99), British pound sterling (Rs. 205.46 and Rs. 206.26), Swiss franc (Rs. 188.49 and Rs. 189.22), Australian dollar (Rs. 107.65 and Rs. 108.07), Canadian dollar (Rs. 109.41 and Rs. 109.83), Singapore dollar (Rs. 119.48 and Rs. 119.95), and others.
The central bank noted that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required, and commercial banks may quote different rates. The latest official rates are available on the NRB's website.
