NRB Publishes Official Foreign Exchange Rates for Today
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. The central bank announced that the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 152.82, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.42. This means that individuals and businesses can purchase dollars at a lower price than sell them.
The exchange rates for other major currencies have also been fixed by NRB. The buying rate for one euro is Rs 178.50 and the selling rate is Rs 179.20, while the British pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 208.41 and a selling rate of Rs 209.23. Other currencies such as the Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, and Omani rial also have fixed exchange rates.
The exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. NRB advises that the rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank's official rates, which are available on their website.
