NRB Publishes Updated Foreign Exchange Rates for Various Currencies
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the updated foreign exchange rates for various currencies as of today. The central bank announced that one US dollar is being traded at Rs 154.21 for buying and Rs 154.81 for selling. This rate is applicable for both individuals and businesses.
The buying rate for euros stands at Rs 175.64, while the selling rate is Rs 176.32. Similarly, the UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 205.38 for buying and Rs 206.18 for selling. The rates for other currencies such as Swiss francs, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, Singapore dollars, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyals, Qatari riyals, Thai bahts, UAE dirhams, Malaysian ringgits, South Korean won, Swedish kronas, Danish kroner, Hong Kong dollars, Kuwaiti dinars, Bahraini dinars, and Omani rials have also been fixed.
The NRB also noted that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Additionally, it mentioned that rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest official exchange rates are available on the central bank's website.
