NRB Sets Daily Foreign Exchange Rates for Major Currencies

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the daily foreign exchange rates for various currencies. The central bank determined that the buying rate for one US dollar is 150 rupees and 88 paisa, while the selling rate is 151 rupees and 48 paisa.

The buying rate for other major currencies includes: Australian dollar at 108 rupees and 39 paisa, Canadian dollar at 109 rupees and 24 paisa, European Euro at 175 rupees and 10 paisa, and UK Pound Sterling at 203 rupees and 65 paisa.

The NRB has stated that the exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. The central bank advises checking its website for updated exchange rates, which may differ from those set by commercial banks.
