NRB Sets Foreign Exchange Rates for Friday
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set foreign exchange rates for Friday. The central bank determined the purchase and selling rates for various currencies, including the US dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Riyal, Thai Baht, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, Swedish Kroner, Danish Kroner, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, Omani Riyal, and Indian Rupee.
The NRB set the purchase rate for one US dollar at 152 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate at 153 rupees 01 paisa. For European Euro, the purchase rate is 175 rupees 80 paisa and the selling rate is 176 rupees 50 paisa.
The central bank also set exchange rates for other currencies, including Pound Sterling (205 rupees 65 paisa purchase rate, 206 rupees 46 paisa selling rate), Swiss Franc (187 rupees 62 paisa purchase rate, 188 rupees 35 paisa selling rate), and others.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. The central bank informed that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rate will be available on the NRB's website.
