NRB Sets New Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Nepal
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. The buying and selling rates for various currencies have been set, with some notable changes compared to previous days.
The NRB has fixed the buying rate of one U.S. dollar at Rs 151.97, while the selling rate is Rs 152.57. Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 176.29 and the selling rate at Rs 176.99.
The central bank has also set the exchange rates for other currencies, including the British pound sterling (Rs 205.84/206.66), Swiss franc (Rs 188/188.74), Australian dollar (Rs 108.84/109.27), Canadian dollar (Rs 109.41/109.85), Singapore dollar (Rs 119.40/119.87), and others.
NRB has cautioned that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary, and commercial banks' rates may differ from the central bank's rates.
