NZ Consumer Confidence Sees Slight Uptick in July
The ANZ-Roy Morgan New Zealand Consumer Confidence index rose by 8 points in July to 99.3, according to the latest data from Roy Morgan Research.
This increase marks a significant improvement from its April low but still lags behind its January peak of 107.1.
Household inflation expectations remained steady at 4.6% for the next two years, while house price expectations decreased slightly from 3.0% to 2.6%.
The net proportion of households thinking it's a good time to buy a major household item rose by 4 points to -7, but remains subdued.
