NZ Poll: Coalition Government and Trump Blamed for Inflation
A recent poll conducted by Horizon Research found that most New Zealanders blame international events and the current coalition government's economic handling for rising inflation over the past year.
The poll, which surveyed 1028 adults from August 5 to 11, revealed that only a minority of respondents attributed price increases to the previous Labour government.
This contradicts National Party claims that Labour is responsible for persistent inflation. The party has previously blamed local councils and Donald Trump's economic policies for the rising cost of living.
