NZ Reserve Bank Seeks Solutions for Cash Access Across Aotearoa
The New Zealand Reserve Bank has seen strong interest in its proposal for cash services access across the country. The bank sought feedback on a plan to ensure local access to withdraw, deposit, and exchange cash for low-denomination banknotes and coins.
Assistant Governor Money Karen Silk thanked those who submitted their thoughts during the public consultation period.
No decisions have been made yet, but the Reserve Bank will analyze all submissions over the next six weeks before releasing its findings later in September.
