NZ Wool Prices Cool After Initial Rally

A recovery in New Zealand wool prices that was eagerly anticipated has begun to ease. Buyers are becoming reluctant to spend top dollar on this season's clip, causing the market to cool down. According to an auctioneer from the North Island, the mid-winter market may have hit its floor after a strong initial showing.

Despite this slowdown, growers are still expected to benefit from last year's prices. The owner of Kells Wool, Richard Kells, has noted that the current prices are better than what they were during the same time last year.
