NZD/USD Retreats Amid Bullish USD Ahead of FOMC Policy Meeting

The New Zealand Dollar (NZD/USD) has retreated slightly from its earlier gains to trade around the 0.5770-0.5765 area, just above last week's swing low.

This comes as the US Dollar retains a bullish undertone amid geopolitical uncertainties following the pause in bombing campaigns against Iran and President Donald Trump's comments on potential talks with the country.

Despite these developments, the market remains cautious ahead of the highly anticipated two-day FOMC policy meeting, starting later today, where investors will look for cues about the Fed's future policy path.
