NZDUSD Rides Broad Dollar Weakness to Three-Month Highs

The New Zealand dollar has been gaining strength against its US counterpart, NZDUSD, due to broad US dollar weakness. This trend is being driven by recent developments in the US bond market, where the Treasury increased long-dated government bond buybacks to at least $4 billion per operation.

This move has contributed to renewed pressure on the dollar and has pushed longer-term Treasury yields lower. As a result, NZDUSD has moved higher, approaching its highest levels in around three months, with prices trading near 0.5973.

The pair's technical analysis suggests that momentum is strengthening alongside the latest recovery, but RSI remains below the overbought threshold of 70. The immediate focus for traders is whether NZDUSD can extend its recovery through 0.6000 or consolidate above its rising short-term trend support.
