NZX 50 Index Rallies on Blue-Chip Gains Amid Oil Price Volatility

New Zealand's S&P/NZX 50 index closed in positive territory on Wednesday, driven by gains from blue-chip stocks like Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and Infratil.

The benchmark rose 26.53 points, or 0.2%, to 13,819.43, with 20 stocks increasing and 27 declining.

The kiwi dollar remained largely unchanged against the US dollar as economists at ANZ New Zealand and Westpac NZ revised their growth forecasts for the June quarter, predicting an expansion of 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.
