OCDSB Trustees and Bank of Canada Security Dispute Spark Controversy
In the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), eight trustee candidates are running individual campaigns under shared values. Despite the board being placed under provincial supervision in 2025, they believe there's strength in numbers as they fight to have their voices heard.
The union representing security guards at the Bank of Canada has filed a fourth complaint against the Crown corporation. The PSAC claims that the Bank of Canada continued to pay replacement workers during a months-long strike, despite receiving a second order to stop doing so.
