Ondo Expands Tokenized Strategy into Australian Market with Openmarkets Partnership

Ondo Finance is expanding its tokenized strategy into Australia through a memorandum of understanding with Openmarkets Group.

The agreement will examine distribution, tokenization, and infrastructure opportunities for tokenized Australian-listed securities and U.S. Treasury products.

With this partnership, Ondo will be able to tap into the growing institutional demand for tokenized markets in Australia, where the Reserve Bank of Australia has found that tokenization can improve market efficiency and resilience.

Ondo already has a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region, with partnerships in Japan and a tokenized-securities platform that has surpassed $1 billion in value locked since May.
