Pakistan Rupee Trades Relatively Steady Against Major Currencies

The Pakistani rupee traded relatively steadily against major foreign currencies in the open market on Wednesday, August 7th. The US Dollar remained below the Rs279 mark, while the Euro and Pound continued to trade at elevated levels.

The US dollar was being bought at Rs278.5 and sold at Rs278.95. The Euro stood at Rs320.55 for buying and Rs323.6 for selling, while the British pound (GBP) was available at Rs374.25 and Rs378.9, respectively.

Other currencies also showed their rates in the open market. The UAE dirham traded at Rs76.1 for buying and Rs77.05 for selling. The Saudi riyal (SAR) was quoted at Rs74.65 and Rs75.3, while the Qatari riyal (QAR) was listed at Rs75.88 for buying and Rs76.35 for selling.
