Pakistani Rupee Extends Unbeaten Streak Against US Dollar

The Pakistani rupee has continued its winning streak against the US dollar, closing in green for the 213th consecutive day on Wednesday. The PKR closed at 277.75 after gaining one paisa against the USD today.

This consistent gain against the dollar began on December 25, 2025. However, other currencies did not fare as well, with the rupee losing ground against several major currencies.

The PKR was stable but closed in red against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR), while it lost 53 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 62 paisas against the Euro (EUR). Meanwhile, it gained 41 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
