Pakistani Rupee Extends Unbeaten Streak to 228 Days Against US Dollar
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its upward trend against the US Dollar (USD), closing in green for the 228th consecutive day on Friday. The PKR closed at 277.5, a gain of one paisa against the USD today.
Since December 25, 2025, the rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar. This streak is a notable achievement for the Pakistani economy.
In other currency news, the PKR was stable against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR). It gained one paisa against the British Pound (GBP) and 19 paisas against the Euro (EUR), but lost 24 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and 39 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
