Pakistani Rupee Gains One Paisa Against Dollar in Interbank Trading
The Pakistani Rupee showed a slight improvement against the US Dollar in interbank trading on Friday, closing at Rs 277.71 compared to the previous day's rate of Rs 277.72.
The Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reported that the buying and selling rates for the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278.50 and Rs 278.75, respectively.
On the other hand, the price of the Euro decreased against the Rupee by Rs 0.52, closing at Rs 319.93 compared to the previous day's rate of Rs 320.45, as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The exchange rates for other major currencies remained relatively stable, with the Japanese Yen unchanged and closing at Rs 1.75, while the British Pound saw a small decrease of Rs 0.28.
