Pakistani Rupee Holds Steady Against Major Currencies

The Pakistani rupee traded relatively steady against major foreign currencies in the open market on Sunday. The US Dollar held below the Rs279 mark, while the Euro and Pound continued to trade at elevated levels.

According to the exchange rates provided by Daily Pakistan, the US dollar was being bought at Rs278.85 and sold at Rs279.05. The Euro stood at Rs319.3 for buying and Rs323.8 for selling, with the British pound available at Rs373.65 and Rs379.47.

The Australian Dollar traded between Rs194.44 and Rs198.25, while the Bahrain Dinar was quoted at Rs742.21 and Rs752.68. The Canadian Dollar stood at Rs198.14 and Rs201.93, with the China Yuan available at Rs38.17 and Rs38.92.
