Partners Group Raises Record $16 Billion, Shares Plunge 47.35%
Partners Group Holding AG reported record fundraising in H1 2026, raising $16 billion, up 31% year-over-year. The company's diversified approach spans multiple client segments and is driving strong growth, with assets under management reaching $186 billion.
The market response was severe, however, as shares plunged 47.35% to $676.4 from a previous close of $1,289, due to investors focusing on performance income timing rather than the company's underlying business momentum.
Management income rose 12% in constant currency to CHF 905 million, while the EBITDA margin held steady at 63%. The company reconfirmed its full-year 2026 fundraising guidance of $26 billion to $32 billion, requiring an additional $10 billion to $16 billion in the second half to meet the target.
Partners Group emphasized strong operational execution across its direct equity portfolio, with double-digit KPI growth creating momentum for future performance fees. The company's investment activity accelerated significantly in the third quarter, with $5 billion of signed and executed investments as of August 28, 2026.
