Peso Falls Amid Middle East Tensions, Eyes on FOMC Minutes
The Mexican Peso fell by approximately 0.16% against the US Dollar on Tuesday as investors awaited the release of the Federal Reserve's last meeting minutes, while tensions in the Middle East remained high.
According to data from the US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the buck's performance against a basket of six currencies, the Greenback rose by 0.07% during the day, reaching a level of 99.65.
The DXY's gain comes as investors remain uncertain about the outcome of the US-Iran conflict and its potential impact on global markets.
