PKR Continues Winning Streak Against USD, Closes in Green for 236th Day

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD), closing in green for the 236th consecutive day. On Wednesday, PKR closed at 277.36, gaining one paisa against the USD. This consistent gain started on December 25, 2025.

The rupee's performance is not limited to the USD alone; it also reported gains against other major currencies such as the British Pound (GBP), Australian Dollar (AUD), Euro (EUR), and Canadian Dollar (CAD). However, PKR lost value against these currencies, with a loss of 28 paisas against the GBP, 21 paisas against the AUD, 36 paisas against the EUR, and 24 paisas against the CAD.

PKR remained stable against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR). The exchange rates for these currencies on different days are as follows:
