PKR Extends 113-Day Winning Streak Against USD
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD), marking its 113th consecutive day of gains in the interbank market. On Thursday, the local currency closed at Rs279.41 against the dollar, gaining one paisa during today's trading session.
The PKR maintained its long-running upward trend against the greenback despite minor fluctuations against some other currencies. It lost one paisa against the UAE Dirham (AED) and remained slightly weaker against the Saudi Riyal (SAR), but gained 71 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 30 paisas against the Euro (EUR).
The PKR's sustained rally against the US dollar continues to be a notable trend in Pakistan's foreign exchange market, with no signs of slowing down.
