PKR Extends Consecutive Winning Streak to 219 Days
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green for the 219th consecutive day against the US Dollar (USD), wrapping up a week of gains. The PKR ended Thursday at 277.65, after gaining one paisa against the USD.
This streak began on December 25, 2025, with the rupee consistently reporting gains against the dollar since then.
The PKR was stable against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR), but gained ground against other major currencies. It rose by 88 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 37 paisas against the Euro (EUR).
