PKR Extends Winning Streak Against Major Currencies
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its winning streak against major currencies, closing in green for the 238th consecutive day on Friday. This remarkable run began on December 25, 2025.
On September 8, the PKR closed at 277.32 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar (USD). The rupee has been consistently reporting gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
The PKR gained Rs. 1.10 against the British Pound (GBP), Rs. 1.21 against the Australian Dollar (AUD), and Rs. 1.02 against the Euro (EUR). It also gained 58 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
