Pound Edges Lower as Traders Await US PCE Data
The British Pound has edged lower below 1.3650 as traders await the release of US PCE data for July later on Wednesday.
Expectations of a rate increase by the Bank of England (BoE) this year could underpin the British Pound, although UK inflation recently eased to 2.6% in June.
The GBP/USD pair has declined to near 1.3625 during early European trading hours on Wednesday, as markets turned cautious ahead of the US July Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index data release.
