Prudential Declares First Interim Dividend of $0.0888 per Ordinary Share
Prudential PLC has announced its first interim dividend of $0.0888 per ordinary share for 2026, payable to shareholders holding shares on the UK or Hong Kong registers.
The dividend will be paid in either pounds sterling or Hong Kong dollars, unless shareholders elect to receive payments in US dollars by 2 October 2026.
Shareholders can also opt for a scrip dividend alternative under the Evergreen Scrip Dividend Scheme, which involves the issuance of new ordinary shares on the Hong Kong line only. The price used to calculate the number of new shares will be the average middle-market price of Prudential's shares over a five-day period commencing on 10 September 2026.
The dividend payment dates are as follows: 22 October 2026 for Hong Kong, UK, and ADR holders; and on or around 29 October 2026 for Singapore holders. The pound sterling and Hong Kong dollar amount per share will be announced on or around 9 October 2026.
