Prudential Sets October Payout for 2026 Interim Dividend
Prudential plc has announced its first interim dividend for 2026, setting an ex-dividend date of September 10, 2026. Shareholders holding shares on the UK or Hong Kong registers will receive their dividend payments in either pounds sterling or Hong Kong dollars respectively, unless they elect to receive dividend payments in US dollars.
The election deadline for US dollar payments is October 2, 2026, and elections must be made through the relevant UK or Hong Kong share registrar. Shareholders holding American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) will receive their dividend payments in US dollars through Citibank N.A., the ADR Depositary.
Additionally, Prudential has announced a scrip dividend alternative under the Evergreen Scrip Dividend Scheme Terms and Conditions available on its website. The scheme involves the issuance of new ordinary shares on the Hong Kong line only.
