RBA Commodities Index Sees 15.4% Annual Growth in July
The Reserve Bank of Australia's Index of Commodity Prices saw a significant increase in July 2026, rising 15.4% year-on-year.
This marked a rebound from the previous month's downwardly revised 14.6% rise and follows a 2.2% decline in June.
The annual growth was largely driven by higher prices across rural commodities, bulk commodities, and base metals.
On a monthly basis, the index rose 0.6% in July, as gains in non-rural and rural commodity prices offset a decline in base metals.
