RBA Holds Interest Rates Steady Amid Soft Economic Data
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is expected to hold its Cash Rate unchanged at 4.35% tomorrow, according to market expectations.
This decision comes after a series of soft economic data, including an unemployment rate that rose to 4.4%, higher than the RBA's forecast of 4.2%
The Trimmed-Mean CPI Y/Y for Q2 came in at 3.6%, lower than the RBA's forecast of 3.8%.
A key focus will be on the updated macroeconomic forecasts and the potential revision to inflation, which is expected to be lower, and unemployment rate, which is expected to be higher.
