RBA Rate Hikes Loom as Economists Predict Back-to-Back Increases
Economists are now more confident that the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will raise interest rates for the second time in a row when it meets later this month.
This follows comments from RBA deputy governor Andrew Hauser, who stated that inflation and growth remain too high.
In an interview, Hauser highlighted the strong economy, with unemployment near historic lows and solid GDP growth.
However, he emphasized that inflation is the main concern for monetary policymakers.
