RBC Lands Jersey Patch Deal with Canucks in Major Partnership
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has partnered with Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE), the parent company of the Vancouver Canucks, to become their official bank. This multi-year agreement will see RBC's logo on the team's home jerseys starting from the 2026-27 NHL season.
The partnership extends across CSE's portfolio of sports and entertainment properties, including the Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver Warriors, Rogers Arena, and Rogers Forum in Abbotsford. This deal marks one of the most visible elements of the partnership, with RBC joining other financial institutions that have leveraged NHL uniform advertising as a branding platform.
The agreement also includes new ticketing and fan engagement benefits for RBC's Avion Rewards members, who will be able to redeem Avion points for tickets to CSE events through Ticketmaster.ca. Eligible RBC clients will gain access to a dedicated entrance at Rogers Arena and Rogers Forum, along with enhanced in-game experiences and other exclusive perks.
RBC's Chief Brand Officer, Shannon Cole, stated that the bank is proud to invest in world-class experiences that Canadians are passionate about. The partnership further expands RBC's presence in the sports and entertainment sector, where it has built partnerships across professional sports, music, and live events.
