RBC Names Former Ontario Cabinet Minister Caroline Mulroney as New Vice Chair

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY) has appointed Caroline Mulroney as its new Vice Chair. She will start her role on September 14 and report directly to Derek Neldner, Head of Capital Markets.

Mulroney is a former Ontario cabinet minister who stepped down in June. Her father is Brian Mulroney, the 18th Prime Minister of Canada.

Neldner highlighted Mulroney's unique professional background and experience across public services, as well as her time working in legal and financial services.
