Royal Bank of Canada has significantly reduced its stake in Allied Gold Corporation. According to a recent disclosure with the SEC, the bank decreased its holdings by 95.5% during the first quarter.

This means that Royal Bank of Canada now owns just 5,120 shares of Allied Gold's stock after selling off 109,080 shares. The bank's remaining stake in Allied Gold is valued at $160,000.

The reduction in holdings follows a series of transactions where other institutional investors and hedge funds have also added to or reduced their stakes in the company. State of Wyoming purchased a new stake in Allied Gold during the first quarter, while Global Retirement Partners LLC acquired a new position in shares of Allied Gold in the fourth quarter.
