Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) reported record quarterly earnings for fiscal third-quarter 2026, beating Wall Street expectations on both adjusted earnings per share (EPS) and revenue. The bank's adjusted EPS came in at $4.28, up 11% year over year, while revenue reached CAD 18.54 billion, a 9% increase from the same period last year.

RBC's net income rose 11% to a record CAD 6 billion, and its return on equity (ROE) reached 17.9% on a reported basis. The bank's CET1 capital ratio remained at 13.5%, providing room for buybacks and growth.

Chief Executive Dave McKay highlighted the bank's strong performance, saying 'Today, we reported very strong results, including record earnings of CAD 6 billion, up 11% year-over-year.' He also emphasized RBC's focus on building a global transaction banking business with cross-border capabilities.
