RBC Trades at Discount Despite Strong Earnings
Royal Bank of Canada has reported higher year-over-year net income and net interest income, as well as the creation of a unified Global Transaction Banking business to support its domestic and international ambitions.
The bank's recent earnings, dividend affirmations, and expansion of Global Transaction Banking have come alongside a steadily positive trend, with the share price at CA$287.89 and a year-to-date share price return of 22.73% while the 1-year total shareholder return is 47.22%.
The company now trades at a discount to both analyst targets and an intrinsic value estimate, even after this strong share price run.
