Revolut, the British neobank, has been granted a full French banking licence by the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR) and European Central Bank. This move allows Revolut to expand its services for European clients and open a major office in Paris.

The new licence is part of Revolut's plan to invest €1 billion in Western Europe, which will bring 600 new jobs across the continent, with 400 located in Paris. The bank already has offices in Lithuania and its main global headquarters in London.

With this full licence, Revolut can now offer a wider range of banking services to its clients, including mortgages and government-regulated savings products such as the Livret A and Livret de développement durable et solidaire (LDDS).
