Risk-On Shift Boosts Stocks, Weighs on US Dollar
Financial markets experienced a shift towards risk-positive sentiment at the start of the week, driven by news that the United States and Iran had halted strikes.
This development improved market sentiment and prompted a broad move toward riskier assets, with US stock index futures rising between 0.8% and 1.4% on the day.
The US Dollar Index declined by more than 0.2%, trading near 101.20 at the time of writing.
The EUR/USD currency pair also benefited from the improved market sentiment, opening with a bullish gap and reaching around 1.1400 after losing about 0.6% in the previous week.
