Financial markets turned risk-positive at the start of the week after news broke that the United States and Iran had halted strikes, improving investor sentiment.

The development led to a broad move towards riskier assets, with US stock index futures rising between 0.8% and 1.4%

As investors turned their attention to this week's busy economic and central bank calendar, the US Dollar Index declined by more than 0.2%, trading near 101.20.

The EUR/USD currency pair also benefited from the improved market sentiment, opening with a bullish gap after losing about 0.6% in the previous week.
