Romania's Central Bank Publishes Exchange Rate for July 31
The National Bank of Romania (BNR) has published its official exchange rate for July 31, revealing the values of various currencies against the Romanian leu. The euro is quoted at 5.2473 lei, while the US dollar is valued at 4.5595 lei. The British pound is evaluated at 6.1332 lei and the Swiss franc at 5.6420 lei.
Other notable currencies include the Australian dollar, which is worth 3.2067 lei, and the Danish crown, priced at 0.7020 lei. BNR also set rates for less commonly traded currencies such as the Egyptian pound (0.0891 lei), Japanese yen (2.8514 lei), and Russian ruble (0.0574 lei).
Additionally, the gram of gold is quoted at 594.6297 lei. Regarding interest rates, ROBID and ROBOR remained unchanged from the previous day, with values ranging between 5.35% and 5.97% depending on maturity.
