RUA Gold's Auld Creek Project Advances in New Zealand with Fast-Track Approval
RUA Gold Inc., a Vancouver-based exploration company, has made significant progress in its Auld Creek Project located in New Zealand's Reefton Goldfield. The project has been approved for referral to the Fast-Track Approvals process under the Fast Track Approvals Act 2024.
The Company acknowledges the support of local communities, stakeholders, and government officials. RUA Gold has completed a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) in early 2026 and is currently working on a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS), which is expected to be finished by Q4 2026.
The Auld Creek Project proposes an underground mining operation with an initial mine life of eight years. It's estimated that the project will employ around 200 people and contribute approximately NZ$240 million to the regional economy.
