Rubel Hits New Lows on BCSE Against Dollar, Euro, Yuan
The Belarusian rubel has taken a hit on several major currency exchanges. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), the rubel is now valued at 2.9133 against the US dollar, down from previous values.
This decline extends to other major currencies as well: the rubel dropped to 3.3304 per euro and 4.3245 per 10 yuan. However, it did manage a slight increase in value against the Russian ruble, climbing to 3.6624 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel's performance has been up and down this year, with last week's data showing it strengthened by 0.46 percent against the dollar, 1.24 percent against the euro, 0.38 percent against the yuan, and 0.26 percent against the Russian ruble.
