Ruble Weakened Against Som, Euro and Tenge Depreciate
The Russian ruble has weakened against the Kyrgyz som after a brief strengthening period. According to data from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek, the ruble now trades at 1.0429 soms. This represents a decrease of 1.09 percent compared to yesterday's rates.
The euro has also depreciated against the som, reaching a level of 102.0235 soms with an increase of 0.03 percent. The Kazakh tenge has decreased in value, trading at 0.1907 soms after recently reaching peak values for 2026.
The US dollar remains unchanged, trading at 87.45 soms according to the official exchange rate of the NB KR. The Chinese yuan has slightly appreciated, trading at 13.0091 soms with an increase of 0.01 percent.
