Rupee Appreciates Against US Dollar

The rupee appreciated slightly against the US dollar in interbank trading on Friday. It closed at Rs277.41 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs277.42. The Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reported that the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs277.95 and Rs278.45, respectively.

The Euro saw a price increase against the rupee, rising by Rs0.46 to close at Rs322.38 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs321.92, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen also appreciated, increasing by 01 paisa to close at Rs1.77.

However, the exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal declined. They closed at Rs75.52 and Rs73.87 respectively, after experiencing a decrease of 01 paisa each.
