Rupee Appreciates Against USD, Other Currencies See Changes
The Pakistani Rupee has strengthened against the US Dollar in interbank trading. On Wednesday, it appreciated by 1 paisa and closed at Rs 277.45 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 277.46.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278 and Rs 278.50, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.29 and closed at Rs 321.31 against the previous day's closing of Rs 321.60, as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Other currencies also saw changes in their exchange rates: the Japanese Yen remained unchanged, while the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 0.66 and closed at Rs 374.90 compared to the previous day's Rs 375.56.
