Rupee Edges Higher Against US Dollar Amid Global Market Volatility
The Pakistani rupee has continued its marginal gains, appreciating by 0.01% against the US dollar on Monday.
The local unit closed at 277.77, a gain of Re 0.03 compared to Friday's closing price of 277.80.
Pakistan's headline inflation rate has been steady, with a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 9.2% in July 2026, as per the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data.
The consumer price index (CPI) was recorded at 11.1% in June and stood at 4.1% in July 2025.
